Michael Sweitzer | CEO
Leading the company as CEO, Michael is a dynamic, forward-thinking business professional with more than 35 years in the commercial and residential real estate space, including ground up construction, property rehabilitation, management operations and commercial brokerage of hotels and resorts. He leads the organization alongside his wife and a small group of professionals on a new nationwide endeavor to build affordable value-add tiny home small footprint communities for those 55 and older.
In the early part of Michaels career, he managed multi-family apartment buildings in New York City and spent time remodeling and building single family homes. In 1996, one of Michaels first large-scale project goals was an RFP response to the city of Staten Island to rebuild the former Naval Home Port waterfront. Though the city never settled on the future of the site it paved the way to a robust career in the commercial real estate space. Michael also has a background in managing a large base of employees and client locations in the general business sector and spent some time working for one of the Country’s largest public organizations.
In 2006 Michael moved to Newport Rhode Island and built upon the existing family business to expand its reach into the energy sector providing commercial electric supply solutions commercial clients with a transparent avenue to managing this area of monthly spend.
In 2018, Michael moved the businesses to Houston Texas to further expand its growth and interest in real estate development, and creative home ideas and solutions.
Tiffany Sweitzer | Vice President
Tiffany Sweitzer, Vice President of Twig & Nest Communities, and a U.S. Air Force war veteran with over 20 years of honorable service is helping her husband lead the family businesses and new endeavors to meet the rising demand for affordable, sustainable housing through the lens of security, quality, and community -A vision to design and build efficient, and beautiful communities for those who value purpose-driven simplicity.
Tiffany is a dynamic leader whose military career spans multiple disciplines -from jet engine mechanic and supply supervisor to building manager, help desk technician, and networking vulnerability specialist. She later became a highly skilled network administrator and cybersecurity officer, trusted with securing and managing multi-million-dollar infrastructure and operations across global deployments.
Beyond her military expertise, Tiffany is a seasoned project manager known for transforming complex challenges into efficient, scalable systems. After retiring from the Air Force, she launched a successful furniture refinishing business and became a trusted vendor for a local furniture store. This dual experience in logistics and creative design uniquely positions her to lead the development of cost-effective, scalable, and aesthetically driven housing solutions.
Tiffany brings all this experience together: technical rigor, logistical mastery, design sensibility, and a passion for building intentional communities.
Alongside her husband Michael, and his decades of leadership, hands-on operational know-how, and a personal commitment to excellence, together they are endeavoring to build a portfolio of modern, efficient tiny home neighborhoods with lasting impact.
Jiju Johny | Vice President of Software Engineering -Structural Solutions
Jiju Johny is a seasoned technology professional with a proven track record of driving innovation and operational excellence in the tech and construction industries.
With over 25 years of experience in computer science and software development, Jiju holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science, a Master of Engineering in Multimedia Technology, and an MBA—an academic foundation that uniquely positions him at the intersection of technology and strategic business leadership.
Jiju specializes in bridging the worlds of software development and structural steel detailing. He has deep expertise in advanced 3D modeling, automated detailing tools, and API-driven customization, enabling him to streamline complex project workflows and enhance precision in large-scale construction projects. His work integrating computational logic into structural detailing processes has consistently delivered accurate, efficient, and scalable solutions.
Known for his collaborative approach, Jiju thrives in multidisciplinary environments, where he applies creative problem-solving to technical challenges and drives continuous improvement. Passionate about emerging technologies in construction, he is also dedicated to lifelong learning, mentoring, and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) sector.
